Eva Maxim abruptly resigns from her position under her in-law, Lauren Phillips, leaving Lauren shocked and curious about her sudden decision. Sensing hidden motives, Lauren interrogates Eva to uncover the truth behind her resignation, but Eva dodges her questions. Determined to get to the bottom of the situation, Lauren persistently probes Eva until she confesses her real reason for leaving: she has developed an overwhelming attraction towards Lauren.
Surprisingly, Lauren reciprocates Eva's feelings. Despite agreeing that Eva's resignation is for the best, they find themselves succumbing to their desires and giving in to temptations they can no longer resist.
